This April, Mission Systems Directors David Battle and David Johnson proudly represented the company at Sea Air Space 2025, held at National Harbor in Maryland, USA.

Hosted by the Navy League of the United States, Sea Air Space is the largest maritime defence exposition in the U.S., drawing senior military leaders, government officials, and industry professionals from around the globe.
This year marked a significant milestone as it was Mission Systems’ first time exhibiting at the event, showcasing Australian innovation on the global stage. As part of the Team Defence Australia delegation, Mission Systems joined a cohort of cutting-edge Australian companies aiming to strengthen international defence partnerships and promote sovereign capability.
Their stand featured a live demonstration of Mission Systems' technologies, including real-time maritime domain awareness and advanced situational awareness. A highlight of the display was a capability brief presented to the new Head of ASCA, Major General Hugh Meggitt.
"Sea Air Space was a fantastic opportunity for us to engage directly with global decision-makers, demonstrate the strengths of our technology, and reinforce Australian Industries' role in shaping the future of maritime security,”
- Director David Battle.
The event provided valuable opportunities to forge new relationships, explore collaboration, and gain insights into emerging trends and requirements in the Indo-Pacific and beyond. For a company with a mission to deliver real-time decision support in complex environments, the event couldn’t have been more relevant.
As Mission Systems continues to grow its international presence, events like Sea Air Space play a critical role in connecting with key stakeholders and staying at the forefront of defence innovation.
