Trusted Autonomous Systems CRC

Today, the Minister for Defence Industry, the Hon Christopher Pyne MP, announced the formation of the first Defence Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) for Trusted Autonomous Systems with Mission Systems selected as an inaugural partner. The team at Mission Systems look forward to applying their unique expertise and capabilities to enhancing the autonomous capability of the ADF. Inaugural RobotX Forum

Mission Systems Director Dr David Battle participated in an expert panel session on the value of mission simulation in maritime autonomy at the inaugural RobotX forum held in Sydney Australia. His presentation, entitled “Physics-based maritime simulation with Morse”, was live streamed along with a subsequent Q&A session with the audience. Having judged the inaugural RobotX competition in Singapore in 2014, David appreciated the opportunity of maintaining contact with the RobotX community. Incubate Class 11

With over seventy startups and $50M in created value to date, Incubate funds students, alumni and researchers to launch high-potential startups through its accelerator and supports entrepreneurs through community activities and mentoring programs.
